Petrie Sports Performance Youth Pathway

From Learning to Train to Training to Compete

A structured athlete development pathway for young athletes aged 10–18. Built to help them move better, get stronger, develop speed, build confidence and progress safely through every stage of their sporting journey.

Why It Matters

Young athletes need more than random sessions.

A 10-year-old learning how to move needs something very different from a 17-year-old preparing for higher-level competition. The PSP pathway gives parents and athletes a clear roadmap from foundation skills to performance preparation.

Physical Development

Strength, speed, coordination, movement quality, landing mechanics, agility and conditioning.

Psychological Growth

Confidence, coachability, focus, resilience, emotional control and competitive mindset.

Long-Term Progression

A joined-up system that helps athletes progress safely from learning to train through to competing.
